Pairing files help SideStore do Wi-Fi refresh. This guide shows how to export pairing from iLoader, import it on another setup, and fix common “pairing expired / refresh failed” problems.
What is a pairing file?
A pairing file is a small data file that helps SideStore authenticate your iPhone for Wi-Fi refresh using iLoader. If you're new, start with: Pairing Files with SideStore.
Export a pairing file from iLoader
- Connect your iPhone to the computer where you're setting up refresh.
- Open iLoader and complete the normal pairing flow for SideStore.
- Use the export option to save your pairing file (backup it somewhere safe).
Import pairing on another device or computer
- On the other computer/setup, open iLoader.
- Choose the import option and select your exported pairing file.
- Install or refresh SideStore apps to confirm the pairing works.
Example workflows (why you'd export)
- Move refresh from a desktop PC to a laptop without repeating everything.
- Backup before switching computers, reinstalling OS, or changing USB/iTunes setup.
- Recover when pairing expires or wireless refresh fails.
Troubleshooting: pairing expired / refresh failed
