ApplicationVerificationFailed usually means iOS rejected the app package during install—often because of signing, Apple’s free-account limits, or a corrupt / incompatible IPA. The exact message may appear in logs or in SideStore after an install attempt.
1. Check Apple’s free-account limits
With a free developer account you can only have a small number of active apps and signing slots. If you are at the limit, new installs fail until you remove apps or revoke unused certificates.
- Read Apple’s 3 app limit.
- Remove sideloaded apps you no longer need, then try again.
- Use iLoader to review and revoke old certificates if you are blocked by certificate count.
2. Developer Mode and device trust
- On iOS 16+, enable Developer Mode and restart if required.
- After install, trust the developer in Settings → VPN & Device Management if the app will not open.
3. Reinstall cleanly
- Delete the partially installed app from the home screen.
- Download the latest iLoader and try installing again with a known-good IPA from a trusted source.
- Temporarily disable aggressive VPNs or network filters that sometimes interfere with signing services.
4. Related errors
If the device shows Unable to Verify App or integrity warnings after install, follow Fix “Unable to Verify App” and refresh in SideStore.
If refresh fails, see SideStore refresh failed.
