If iLoader doesn't list your iPhone or iPad on Windows, you won't be able to install SideStore or sideload apps. Follow these steps in order.

Step 1: Use a data-capable USB cable

  • Some USB cables charge only and don't transfer data.
  • Try a different USB port (avoid unpowered hubs).

Step 2: Install iTunes from Apple (not the Microsoft Store)

  • Download/install iTunes from apple.com/itunes.
  • Restart your Windows PC after installing.

Step 3: Unlock your phone and trust the computer

  • Unlock your iPhone/iPad and keep the screen awake.
  • When prompted, tap Trust This Computer and enter your passcode if required.

Step 4: Restart iLoader and try again

  • Close iLoader completely.
  • Reconnect USB and re-open iLoader.

Step 5: Run iLoader as administrator

  • Right-click iLoader and choose Run as administrator.
  • If Windows blocks the connection, allow iLoader through your firewall.
