Searching for an IPA download usually means you already know you want an app package you can install outside the App Store. This article ties together safety basics, where iLoader fits, and the exact install path most readers should follow.

What you’re downloading

An IPA is an iOS app archive—like a .zip of the app binary, assets, and metadata. You don’t “run” the IPA on a PC; you sign it with your Apple ID and install it onto an iPhone or iPad using a sideloading workflow (for example iLoader on a computer plus SideStore on the device). See also What is an IPA file?

Where to get IPAs (safely)

  • Official or open-source projects — Many emulators and tools publish IPAs or build artifacts you can trust because the source is public.
  • iLoader’s IPA library — Browse IPA downloads for landing pages that explain each app and link to the download on iLoader.
  • SideStore sources — If you use curated sources, apply the same skepticism as any download: prefer known maintainers. Our safe sources checklist helps.

Avoid random “one-click” installers or files from untrusted forums. If an IPA is bundled with unknown scripts or asks for your Apple password outside Apple’s real sign-in UI, stop. More in Sideloading security.

How to install after you have the IPA

  1. Install iLoader on Windows, macOS, or Linux.
  2. Set up or refresh SideStore on your device (see Getting Started).
  3. Follow How to Install IPA on iPhone for USB install, trust, and refresh.

Popular IPA categories

Readers often look for media apps, social tweaks, or utilities. Examples in our library include YouTube Plus IPA download, Spotify Plus, and SideStore itself. Pick the page that matches your goal and read the OS notes before installing.
